Emerging in the heart of the community is Summerlin Centre, a 1,300-acre village that is taking shape as Summerlin’s urban core. Summerlin Centre combines the best of retail, hospitality, entertainment, office and residential elements. Designed to be a vibrant and influential social hub, Summerlin Centre will be a place where employment opportunities, great shopping, exciting dining and numerous cultural and recreational possibilities are all just footsteps from home. The eastern portion of Summerlin Centre will also include 1 million to 1.5 million square feet of office and commercial space, starting with the 6-story Business Bank of Nevada's corporate headquarters, for which ground has already been broken.
The growing construction in Summerlin Centre began in spring 2007 and they plan to celebrate a fall 2008 grand opening.
