AMERICA'S BIGGEST OPEN HOUSE
America’s Biggest Open House is a colossal open house that features more than 50 model homes in more than a dozen neighborhoods by different homebuilders – all located in Summerlin. The event offers prospective homebuyers an opportunity to tour a wide variety of model homes in a short period of time – all while enjoying a festive atmosphere, balloons, prize drawings and refreshments. Participating Summerlin neighborhoods are located in six actively selling villages: The Canyons, The Mesa, The Paseos, Summerlin Centre, The Vistas and The Ridges. A complete list of participating neighborhoods will be posted on the website two-weeks prior to the event so be sure to check back with us then for more details.

SUMMERLIN EARTHFAIRE
Summerlin and its homebuilders are hosting the fifth annual Summerlin Earthfaire, the valley’s largest Earth Day celebration. This family-oriented event is free and open to the public and includes more than 60 exhibitors – from environmental organizations to pet adoption, children's environmental art activities and hands-on science experiments. Participating environmental groups provide information about their respective organizations as well as tips on recycling, energy savings and environmental education. Musical entertainment, food, fun and more!

SUMMERLIN PATRIOTIC PARADE
The entire Las Vegas valley is invited to celebrate Independence Day at the 15th annual Summerlin Patriotic Parade, the valley’s largest and most colorful Fourth of July parade. Organized by The Summerlin Council, the parade features more than 70 entries including traditional floats, dance performers, musical groups, giant inflatable balloons, cars and other decorated vehicles, dignitaries and local mascots. Major sponsors of this event include The Howard Hughes Corporation, General Growth Properties, Summerlin and its homebuilders. Be sure to mark your calendar for this grand event and join us as we celebrate America’s 232nd birthday!

SUMMERLIN ART FESTIVALThe eighth annual Summerlin Art Festival features two events in one: La Strada dell’Arte, a Summerlin street painting festival adopted from Italian tradition, and Celebration of the Arts, an outdoor art festival featuring more than 125 artists and craftsmen from throughout the southwestern United States. Part of the fun is watching artists of all ages transform the Summerlin Centre Community Park into an outdoor gallery of colorful art, using the park sidewalks as their canvas. Peruse and buy the works of talented artisans featuring their collections of hand-made, one-of-a-kind creations, including paintings, glasswork, pottery, jewelry, metalwork, sculpture, mixed media, wearing apparel, hand-made soaps, handcrafted dolls and woodcrafts. The event includes a full entertainment line-up with performances by the Academy of Nevada Ballet Theatre, live music, food art displays and ice carving demonstrations, children’s activities, living statues and roving entertainers. A wide variety of food and beverage will be available for purchase.
