SUMMERLIN PARKS

Summerlin’s wide variety of parks (there are currently more than 20 major parks and more than 80 neighborhood or "pocket" parks throughout the community) offers all kinds of surprising possibilities. At The Hills Park, a family picnic can unexpectedly lead to a game of one-on-one basketball or a sand volleyball match. At The Willows Park, an afternoon game of catch can suddenly turn into an exciting softball game that stretches into the night. A leisurely stroll through The Arbors Park with a friend can inspire a full-scale assault on the tennis courts – or you might prefer a mile’s worth of laps at The Trails Park pool. For something a little more passive, let yourself go – down the big slide at The Willows Park pool or with a game of bocce ball, horseshoes or shuffleboard at The Gardens Park.

Major parks in Summerlin are most often located at the center of a village, and each park is designed with facilities to accommodate a specific focus, such as soccer, tennis, softball or swimming. Just as the community has set the standard for first-rate development, its generous parks reflect that same philosophy. They are well equipped, well maintained and serve as popular gathering spots for community residents of all ages.
